⭐ Reader reviews
Reader rating
Barton provides a comprehensive overview of ancient astrology's evolution, linking celestial theory to political power effectively. However, readers seeking practical divinatory techniques or modern astrological advice will find this historical and theoretical approach lacking in immediate applicability. It is not for those who prefer subjective interpretation over historical context. The work is best suited for academics and history enthusiasts who want to understand the societal impact of astrology rather than its practice. While informative, it may feel dry to casual readers looking for mystical experiences.
