Esoterica Books is curated by a small editorial team — readers, researchers and practitioners of the Western esoteric tradition.
Between us we cover the map: ceremonial magic and Hermetica, tarot and divination, alchemy, Kabbalah, astrology, folk magic and modern witchcraft, and the academic study of esotericism. Some of us come from university religious-studies programs; some from decades of practice; the best of us from both.
What unites the desk is a simple rule: we do not recommend what we have not examined. Every title's description and Esoterica Score comes from an editor's actual reading, checked against the tradition's own literature.
