Esoterica Books is curated by a small editorial team — readers of the Western esoteric tradition.
The catalog covers the map: ceremonial magic and Hermetica, tarot and divination, alchemy, Kabbalah, astrology, folk magic and modern witchcraft, and the academic study of esotericism. For each book we try to answer one question honestly — who is this for, and who should skip it.
We write our own descriptions and short editorial reviews from the publisher's information and each edition's facts, and the Esoterica Score is built from that review plus published reader ratings where a book has them. We are adding reviews to more of the catalog every week.
