⭐ Reader reviews
Reader rating
Photiades delivers a compelling narrative that successfully bridges the gap between historical record and esoteric interpretation. However, readers seeking purely academic, dry historiography or those skeptical of any validity in Cagliostro’s mystical claims may find the focus on his 'genuine esoteric mastery' too sympathetic. It is not suited for those who prefer straightforward, unadorned factual accounts without engagement with the subjective allure of his identities. The book shines for those willing to explore the ambiguity of a figure who was both mystic and strategist, but it demands an openness to the notion that his legacy is more than mere charlatanry.
