📚 ABOUT THE BOOK

Uncover the universe's secret language, where numbers reveal cosmic creation itself.

Humanity's perception is often constrained by the five senses, hindering direct understanding of fundamental concepts like Space and Time. This limitation frequently forces us to reduce complex realities to their simplest forms, overlooking the intricate universal structures that govern existence. Schwaller De Lubicz's seminal work argues that by delving into the true essence of numbers, we can transcend this simplified view. It proposes that numbers are not just abstract symbols but a profound guide to the universe's constant unfolding, capable of awakening a higher awareness of cosmic order and the tangible connection between genesis and outcome.

Fun fact
"A Study of Numbers" is a rigorous and deeply philosophical work that transcends typical numerology. It masterfully challenges our sensory-bound perceptions, inviting readers to recognize numbers as profound guides to cosmic architecture rather than mere abstractions. While it won't satisfy those seeking simple predictive formulas, it's an indispensable read for anyone serious about esoteric science and understanding the root of universal order. This foundational text is crucial for appreciating Schwaller De Lubicz's later, more complex theories.

📝 Description: A Study of Numbers: A Guide to the Constant Creation of the Universe

We lack direct consciousness of Space and Time. We can know of them only indirectly by mass, force, and energy, and by the intermediary of phenomena such as may be tested by our five senses. Without direct awareness of Space or Time, human beings lack two "senses" necessary for the knowledge of all causes. From this imperfection, of which we are always being made aware, is born our need to simplify. Thus we reduce everything to fundamental properties, without paying any attention to the underlying universal organization, the effects of which are all around us. The result is that the science of numbers, the most wonderful guide to the constant creation of the universe, remains an enormous hypothesis so long as its use has not awakened in us the higher consciousness of a universal order. By deepened knowledge of things and their process of becoming, we must come to recognize Numbers as a truth, and to experience with our senses the living relation of a cause to an effect, this relation being truer and more real than the effect could ever be. Published in 1917 under the author's given name of René Schwaller, A Study of Numbers is the first expression of the teachings we have come to associate with his later and better known name, R. A. Schwaller de Lubicz. It is a masterly account of the living, universal, qualitative, and casual reality of numbers. Starting from the irreducible one, Schwaller deals with the unfolding of creation through the cycles of polarization, ideation, and formation. Topics covered include: numbers, values, and relations; the disengagement of numbers; the harmonic basis of numbers; the development of values; and the establishment of harmony.

Schwaller De Lubicz presents a rigorous argument that numbers are a profound guide to the universe's constant creation. While intellectually stimulating for those willing to engage with abstract metaphysical concepts, it is not suitable for readers seeking practical divination techniques or empirical scientific data. The text demands patience and an openness to non-materialist perspectives on Space and Time. Those expecting straightforward instructions or tangible proofs may find it elusive. However, for the dedicated esoteric student, it offers a vital key to understanding the cosmic order. It is a demanding but rewarding exploration of how numerical essence reveals the deeper structures of reality, provided one accepts its philosophical premises without immediate demand for conventional validation.
