While Alan Leo’s methodology is historically significant for its systematic approach to progressions, modern readers may find the text dense and somewhat dated in its psychological nuance. It demands patience and a strong grasp of basic astrological geometry before delving into complex calculations. This book does not suit those seeking quick, intuitive horoscopes or light spiritual comfort; it is a technical manual for dedicated practitioners. However, for the serious scholar of astrology who values the intricate science behind celestial movement, it remains an indispensable resource for understanding the transformative influence of time on the zodiacal chart.
