I collect works on this subject and this is a worthy addition. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. A keeper.
Bought this as a gift for my sister and ended up ordering a second copy for myself. Every rereading turns up something I missed. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted. Recommended with reservations.
I've read excerpts online before, but having the full text is different. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm.
My third book from this store and this one might be the best. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. Some archaic spellings slow things down.
Took a chance on this and glad I did. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. My only quibble is the cover feels thinner than expected. Recommended with reservations.
