This exceeded my expectations. The material is presented clearly and the structure makes it easy to revisit key passages. Shipping was quick too.
Not my usual area but wanted to branch out. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Happy enough with the purchase.
This edition finally does the material justice. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
