Witches N Things

Gubernatis provides a structured overview of witchcraft essentials, making complex traditions accessible to a broad audience. The text focuses on defining the core components of Wiccan paths rather than offering intricate ritual instructions. Readers seeking advanced ceremonial magic or highly specific regional folklore may find the content too general. However, those wanting a clear, straightforward introduction to the basic tenets of witchcraft will appreciate the clarity and direct approach used throughout these pages.

Perfect companion for my morning study sessions. The print is clean and easy on the eyes for long sessions. If you're drawn to this subject, don't hesitate.

Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. You can tell why this work has endured. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. If you're drawn to this subject, don't hesitate.

This exceeded my expectations. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. It assumes more background than a beginner might have.

Arrived faster than expected and well packaged. It connects ideas I'd only seen treated separately elsewhere. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. Five stars from me.

Honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm impressed. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. Well worth it.

My third book from this store and this one might be the best. The material is presented clearly and the structure makes it easy to revisit key passages. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way. It assumes more background than a beginner might have. Solid, if not essential.
