Fun Fact

Roberts delivers a compelling critique of hyper-rationality, offering readers a liberating framework for spontaneous creation. The channeled voice remains distinct and authoritative, making complex metaphysics accessible. However, those seeking detailed ritual instructions will be disappointed, as this is purely psychological and philosophical. It stands as a vital bridge between New Age philosophy and practical occult application, essential for those tired of sterile logic.

📝 Description: The Magical Approach: Seth Speaks about the Art of Creative Living - PGW

The Seth books are world-renowned for comprising one of the most profound bodies of work ever written on the true nature of reality. In this brand new volume of original material, Seth invites us to look at the world through another lens -- a magical one. Seth reveals the true, magical nature of our deepest levels of being, and explains how we have allowed it to become inhibited by our own beliefs and conventional thinking. The Magical Approach teaches us how to live our lives spontaneously, creatively, and according to our own natural rhythms. It helps us to discover and tune into our natural, instinctive behavior. By applying the principles in this book, readers will learn to trust their impulses and discover the highest expression of their creativity. "We are indeed dealing with two entirely different approaches to reality and to solving problems -- methods we will here call the rational method and the magical one. The rational approach works quite well in certain situations, such as mass production of goods, or in certain kinds of scientific measurements -- but all in all the rational method, as it is understood and used, does not work as an overall approach to life, or in the solving of problems that involve subjective rather than objective measurements or calculations. The magical approach has far greater weight, if you use it and allow yourselves to operate in that fashion, for it has the weight of your basic natural orientation."

Occult literature desk

Roberts channels Seth to present a compelling argument against the dominance of rationality in modern life, offering a refreshing perspective on creative living. The text is accessible and inspiring, effectively guiding readers to recognize how conventional beliefs inhibit their deepest nature. However, it may not suit those who prefer strict, step-by-step ceremonial instructions or remain skeptical of channeled material. Readers seeking empirical evidence or rigid dogmatic structures might find the emphasis on intuition too abstract. While the core message about dissolving mental barriers is powerful, its effectiveness relies entirely on the reader's willingness to accept Seth’s metaphysical framework as truth rather than metaphor.

Good but demanding

First purchase from this shop. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious. Good, with the caveats above.

Essential reading

Arrived faster than expected and well packaged. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. Deserves a place on any esoteric bookshelf.

Worth every penny

My third book from this store and this one might be the best. Solid binding, decent paper — holds up to heavy use. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. Definitely recommend.

Exceeded expectations

As someone who reads a lot in this field, I can be picky. You can tell why this work has endured. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. Deserves a place on any esoteric bookshelf.
