⭐ Reader reviews
Reader rating
Canizares offers a compelling insider view that strips away sensationalism to reveal Santería’s philosophical core. However, readers seeking dry academic detachment may find the personal narrative too intimate, while those expecting purely ceremonial manuals will be disappointed by the contextual focus. It is not for skeptics dismissive of Afro-diasporic religions or those who prefer rigidly structured dogma over adaptive spiritual paths. The book demands an open mind and a respect for cultural nuance, making it less suitable for casual readers looking for quick occult tips.
