Forbidden Rites

Ellis offers a dense, well-researched exploration of traditional Witchcraft that demands dedication from its audience. The text covers vital ground, from visualization techniques to the mysteries of formularies and natural elements. However, it does not suit casual readers or those seeking light, modern eclectic Wicca without foundational rigor. Beginners may find the intensity of 'forbidden currents' and complex energy manipulation overwhelming rather than inviting. This book is strictly for those prepared to engage with the sacred dance of divine energies and master practical exercises in a traditional context. It is a robust resource for the committed practitioner, not a gentle introduction.
