Ordered this after seeing it referenced in another book I was studying. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted. Happy enough with the purchase.
As someone who reads a lot in this field, I can be picky. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. It's become a regular reference in my practice. One of my better finds this year.
My book club chose this last month. It's become a regular reference in my practice. Highly recommend to serious students.
Perfect companion for my morning study sessions. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious. Solid, if not essential.
My third book from this store and this one might be the best. Every rereading turns up something I missed. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. Some archaic spellings slow things down. Solid, if not essential.
This volume succeeds as a charming introduction to Lenormand cartomancy, effectively stripping away the intimidation factor through whimsical imagery and straightforward instructions. It is perfect for visual learners and those craving a gentle start in divination. However, seasoned occultists or academic historians may find the content overly simplified, lacking the depth and traditional rigor they expect from esoteric literature. The focus on 'easy' intuition might frustrate readers seeking complex symbolic analysis or historical authenticity. While excellent for building confidence among novices, it does not cater to those who prefer dense, scholarly treatises or who view divination as a serious, rigorous study rather than a casual, aesthetic practice.
