A Witch's Runes: How to Make and Use Your Own Magick Stones

Susan Sheppard offers a charming and accessible entry point into runic divination, focusing on creativity rather than academic rigor. The emphasis on making one’s own stones is inspiring for crafters who wish to imbue their tools with personal intent. However, this book does not suit those seeking historical accuracy regarding ancient Norse traditions or complex scholarly analysis of rune lore. It may also disappoint practitioners who prefer ready-made sets and resist the labor-intensive process of sourcing and carving materials. Ultimately, it is a delightful resource for DIY enthusiasts but lacks depth for serious historians or purists.

This book is an ideal companion for the modern witch seeking to deepen their spiritual practice through tangible, hands-on creation. Readers who feel disconnected from mass-produced divination tools will find immense value in learning how to infuse their own energy into thirteen unique stones. It appeals to those who desire a personalized magical experience, offering clear guidance on selecting and purifying materials. By transforming simple rocks into potent talismans, practitioners can foster a more intuitive and intimate connection with their craft. Whether for insightful readings or heartfelt blessings, this guide empowers individuals to take control of their destiny through bespoke magickal tools that resonate deeply with their personal power.
