Perfect companion for my morning study sessions. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. A keeper.
Bought this as a gift for my sister and ended up ordering a second copy for myself. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. My only quibble is the cover feels thinner than expected. Happy enough with the purchase.
This edition finally does the material justice. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. Some archaic spellings slow things down. Happy enough with the purchase.
Exactly what I was looking for. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. Some archaic spellings slow things down. Still worth having on the shelf.
I collect works on this subject and this is a worthy addition. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
Perfect companion for my morning study sessions. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. Would buy from this store again.
Added this to my reference shelf. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. Five stars from me.
