Tarot Magic: Ceremonial Magic Using Golden Dawn Correspondences
✍️ Tyson, DonaldDonald Tyson dismantles the need for physical ritual paraphernalia by harnessing the Golden Dawn’s intricate correspondence system. This guide demonstrates how a standard 78-card deck becomes a potent vessel for ceremonial magic, allowing practitioners to manipulate elemental forces and craft potent charms through mental projection alone. Tyson instructs readers to construct an astral temple within the tarot layout, effectively building altars and casting circles in the ether. The text covers essential workings such as banishing, evoking elementals, and forging unions, offering a streamlined, efficient path to astral manipulation that prioritizes internal visualization over external props.

A friend in my study group recommended this one. It's become a regular reference in my practice. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. Deserves a place on any esoteric bookshelf.
Exactly what I was looking for. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. The font runs small in the appendices.
Perfect companion for my morning study sessions. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. Recommended if you're ready to do the work.
Honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm impressed. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way. Would buy from this store again.
I've read excerpts online before, but having the full text is different. It connects ideas I'd only seen treated separately elsewhere. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. Some archaic spellings slow things down. Solid, if not essential.
Needed this for my research. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point.
Been hunting for a decent copy of this text for ages. A text you study rather than simply read. Already eyeing my next order.
Tyson presents a rigorous, no-nonsense approach to tarot magic that strips away the theatricality often associated with ceremonial working. The text is dense and demands a high level of concentration, making it unsuitable for casual hobbyists or those seeking gentle, intuitive guidance. Readers who prefer soft, New Age interpretations of tarot will likely find this material too rigid and intellectually demanding. However, for the dedicated magician willing to invest significant mental energy into constructing astral structures, the payoff is substantial. The emphasis on internal projection over external ritual creates a unique, streamlined path to power that respects the complexity of Golden Dawn theory while discarding its logistical burdens.
