Atkinson provides a fascinating exploration into psychomancy, offering practical guidance for those eager to access hidden knowledge through mental focus. However, this work is strictly bound by its 1908 origins and the specific tenets of the New Thought movement. It does not suit readers seeking contemporary scientific validation for psychic phenomena or those who prefer rigorous academic historiography over spiritual self-help. Skeptics of esoteric practices may find the underlying assumptions about inherent mental powers unconvincing.
