Bought this as a gift for my sister and ended up ordering a second copy for myself. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year.
I collect works on this subject and this is a worthy addition. Every rereading turns up something I missed. Already eyeing my next order.
This edition finally does the material justice. Solid binding, decent paper — holds up to heavy use. Still worth having on the shelf.

My third book from this store and this one might be the best. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. A keeper.
