Oracle Bones Divination: The Greek I Ching

Dervenis offers a compelling reconstruction of Greek oracle bone divination, successfully bridging the gap between academic history and practical occult application. The inclusion of coin-based methods makes the system highly accessible, while the references to original temple stanzas lend an air of scholarly legitimacy. However, readers seeking purely mythological narratives or those uncomfortable with the pseudo-historical nature of 'reconstructed' ancient frameworks may find the approach too speculative. It is not suited for strict historians demanding primary source verification over interpretive synthesis. Nevertheless, as a functional esoteric tool, it stands out for its clarity and unique position in the market, offering a distinct alternative to Eastern systems without abandoning their philosophical depth.

Readers deeply fascinated by the roots of Western divination will find this book to be a vital key to unlocking a lost chapter of Hellenic spirituality. It is ideal for those who feel that standard tarot or rune readings lack the specific historical texture of ancient Mediterranean mysticism. By offering a reconstructed framework, Dervenis provides a tangible way to engage with fate using accessible tools like coins, making the profound insights of original temple stanzas available to the modern practitioner. This guide empowers individuals to seek personal guidance through a method that claims to predate the I Ching, appealing to those who value historical authenticity alongside spiritual utility. It is for anyone eager to unearth forgotten wisdom and apply it to their daily journey with a sense of grounded, ancient authority.

Practical Oracle Guidance

Dervenis provides clear, step-by-step instructions for performing this ancient divination. Learn to cast either traditional sheep anklebones or modern coins, and interpret the results using a meticulously reassembled matrix. The guidance is designed for practical application, offering answers on love, health, wealth, and destiny.

Historical Primacy

This work highlights the profound antiquity of Greek oracle bone traditions, demonstrating their origins in the Neolithic period across Greece, Turkey, and Bulgaria. It positions this system as a precursor to other well-known divinatory practices, including the Chinese I Ching, emphasizing its unique place in divinatory history.
