📝 Description: Mushroom Notes: Mushroom Notes

Chronicle Books offers Mushroom Notes, a stationery box created by illustrator Megan Lynn Kott. Kott previously created Cat Tarot, Cat Lady Old Maid, Unfamiliar Familiars, and Pawmistry, while collaborating with Maximum Fun, Tea Collection, and Kitten Lady. As an avid enthusiast of fungi, she brings watercolor artwork to this set of twenty nature cards and twenty envelopes housed together inside a gift box. Ten distinct designs are repeated twice throughout the set, featuring ten specific fungal specimens alongside their common and scientific names. Each folded note displays full color illustrations on the front along with versatile, all occasion friendly messages suitable for congratulations, celebrations, or general correspondence. The set functions as stationery or as miniature wall art pieces for room decor and collages. Fungi are fascinating organisms that share a closer biological relationship with humans than with plants. Kott uses watercolor painting to highlight these specimens for readers interested in botanical art, nature, and mycology. The physical package measures 4.39 centimeters high, 14.0 centimeters long, and 11.0 centimeters wide, weighing 0.23 kilograms across its 20 pages. The set suits stationery collectors, nature enthusiasts, and fans of botanical illustrations seeking general greeting cards. It does not suit readers looking for a bound written narrative, an instructional guide, or a traditional book with chapters.

Occult literature desk

While visually stunning, this item is strictly a collection of notecards rather than a substantive text. It will not suit readers seeking deep philosophical discourse, detailed mycological analysis, or extensive textual narratives about the occult properties of mushrooms. The value lies entirely in the artistic rendering and the utility of the cards for correspondence. Readers expecting an educational tome on fungal biology or esoteric mushroom lore will be disappointed by the lack of written content. It is best appreciated as a decorative object or a stationery set for those who enjoy whimsical, nature-inspired aesthetics. The scientific names provide a nod to natural history, but the primary appeal is purely visual and sentimental. It is a niche product for fans of Megan Lynn Kott’s art style rather than a comprehensive guide to any specific field.
