This has been on my wishlist for months. The material is presented clearly and the structure makes it easy to revisit key passages. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Recommended with reservations.

I keep coming back to this one. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. Some archaic spellings slow things down. Happy enough with the purchase.
I collect works on this subject and this is a worthy addition. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. Good, with the caveats above.
My book club chose this last month. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. Will be gifting a copy to a friend.
