Finally got around to ordering this. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. It connects ideas I'd only seen treated separately elsewhere. One of my better finds this year.
I collect works on this subject and this is a worthy addition. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. Highly recommend to serious students.
I've read excerpts online before, but having the full text is different. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. A text you study rather than simply read. My only quibble is the cover feels thinner than expected. Still worth having on the shelf.
