Ordered this after seeing it referenced in another book I was studying. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. It assumes more background than a beginner might have. Good, with the caveats above.
Long-time student of the esoteric here. The material is presented clearly and the structure makes it easy to revisit key passages. Already eyeing my next order.
Grabbed this during a weekend order. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. A keeper.
As someone who reads a lot in this field, I can be picky. You can tell why this work has endured. It's become a regular reference in my practice. My only quibble is the cover feels thinner than expected. Still worth having on the shelf.
