I keep coming back to this one. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. Some archaic spellings slow things down. Happy enough with the purchase.
My third book from this store and this one might be the best. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. If you're drawn to this subject, don't hesitate.
This has been on my wishlist for months. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. The font runs small in the appendices. Happy enough with the purchase.
Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. Still worth having on the shelf.
