Praise for this book

“Ardy Sixkiller Clarke's UFO books are like no other...A product of Reservation life, and with a personality that puts wary persons at ease, Clarke moves easily through the culture and finds her way to a broad range of informants-cowboys, veterans, students, cops, pilots, scientists, medical professionals, and ordinary folk-to harvest a lot of high strangeness.”

Fun Fact
Clarke's 'Space Age Indians' is a vital contribution, offering a much-needed indigenous voice to the often-homogenized field of ufology. It excels in presenting compelling, unvarnished accounts that resonate with deep cultural meaning. Those seeking purely scientific or skeptical analyses might be disappointed, as its strength lies in ethnographic storytelling and spiritual exploration. This work carves out a unique and essential space, bridging ancient wisdom with contemporary mystery, and challenging readers to consider broader paradigms of contact.

📝 Description: Space Age Indians: Their Encounters with the Blue Men, Reptilians, and Other Star People

SPACE AGE INDIANS presents the encounters of American Indians who lived from the time when the first human astronauts ventured into space to the present day--a time known as the Space Age. Almost all the experiencers interviewed by the author have used computers, social media, and the internet, at least to some extent. While their stories differ significantly from those not exposed to all the media information about UFOs and aliens, it did not appear to influence their experience. Their amazing and sometimes bizarre stories represent just a fraction of the more than four thousand accounts the author has collected over the years of interviewing American Indians around the country about their encounters with the Star People.

While this volume provides a valuable window into indigenous perspectives on alien encounters, it may not suit readers seeking scientific proof or skeptical analysis of UFO claims. Those expecting dry academic rigor or detached observational data might find the reliance on personal testimony and spiritual context frustrating. It is best appreciated by those open to esoteric viewpoints and willing to engage with narratives that blend cultural heritage with modern phenomena. Readers who prefer hard facts over anecdotal evidence should approach this work with caution, as it prioritizes subjective experience and cultural interpretation over empirical verification.
