Lucya Starza offers an illuminating perspective on the Wheel of the Year, transforming it from a series of isolated events into a fluid, ever-turning journey. The text is rich with folkloric customs, plant lore, and practical spells that deepen seasonal connections. However, readers seeking rigid adherence to traditional eight-fold Sabbat structures or those who prefer strictly academic historical analysis may find this approach too expansive or informal. It does not suit those who wish to keep their magical practice compartmentalized into specific dates only. Instead, it appeals to the intuitive practitioner ready to embrace continuous magic woven through every turn of the moon and sun.
