Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. Five stars from me.
Ordered this after seeing it referenced in another book I was studying. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. Definitely recommend.
Exactly what I was looking for. Solid binding, decent paper — holds up to heavy use. Highly recommend to serious students.
This exceeded my expectations. The material is presented clearly and the structure makes it easy to revisit key passages.
Was skeptical at first. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
Needed this for my research. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in.
Finally got around to ordering this. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted. Good, with the caveats above.
