Godspells: Written Spells, Spoken Spells and Spell Enhancers (Revised)

This exceeded my expectations. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Happy enough with the purchase.

This exceeded my expectations. A text you study rather than simply read. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious. Happy enough with the purchase.

Honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm impressed. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted.

Added this to my reference shelf. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. You can tell why this work has endured. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious.

Added this to my reference shelf. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes.

Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. Some archaic spellings slow things down.

Oribello’s text offers a refreshing perspective by redefining magick as a divine heritage accessible to all. The revised edition effectively bridges the gap between sacred spellcraft and practical application, providing clear instructions for enhancing one’s spiritual life. However, readers expecting complex ceremonial rituals or dense theoretical occultism may find the approach too simplified or overly focused on etymological arguments rather than rigorous magical theory. It is best suited for those open to a benevolent, scientifically framed spirituality rather than traditional goetic or high magic systems. The tone is inviting, but it lacks the depth required for advanced occultists seeking intricate ritual structures.
