This exceeded my expectations. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. Still worth having on the shelf.
Long-time student of the esoteric here. A text you study rather than simply read. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. Great value for what you get.
First purchase from this shop. It's become a regular reference in my practice. Shipping was quick too.
While this deck offers a delightful and colorful approach to divination, it may not suit readers seeking traditional, historically accurate Rider-Waite-Smith interpretations or those who prefer dark, gothic aesthetic themes. The whimsical nature and decorative lines prioritize accessibility over depth, making it less appealing to serious scholars of occult history. However, for those valuing visual clarity and a lighthearted tone, it succeeds well. It is best viewed as a creative tool for self-reflection rather than a rigorous scholarly text. Its strength lies in its ability to make esoteric concepts approachable through cheerful imagery, though it lacks the gravitas expected by traditionalists.
