Diccionario Gitano de Los Suenos

Buckland offers a structured approach to dream interpretation rooted in specific cultural traditions, providing clear symbolic mappings for the serious student of esoteric practices. The text is organized as a reference tool, making it useful for quick lookups during study or practice. However, readers expecting modern psychological frameworks or scientific validation will find this work lacking. It is strictly oriented toward mystical and occult perspectives, which may feel dated or unscientific to those accustomed to contemporary academic approaches in dream analysis.

Grabbed this during a weekend order. Solid binding, decent paper — holds up to heavy use. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. Would buy from this store again.

Bought this as a gift for my sister and ended up ordering a second copy for myself. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way. Good, with the caveats above.

My third book from this store and this one might be the best. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. A keeper.

My book club chose this last month. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. My only quibble is the cover feels thinner than expected. Still worth having on the shelf.
