About the author
Raymond Buckland, a pivotal English author and High Priest, illuminated the paths of Wicca and the broader occult spectrum for countless seekers. Under his craft name, Robat, Buckland’s prolific writings, notably *Witchcraft from the Inside*, became foundational texts for those exploring the mysteries of the Craft. He stands as a luminary for his courageous act of openly identifying as a Wiccan practitioner in the United States, a bold step in 1971 that demystified the ancient art. Buckland’s introduction of Gardnerian Wicca to America in 1964, following his initiation in Britain, marked a significant transmission of lineage and practice. He further expanded esoteric thought by founding the Seax-Wica tradition, deeply rooted in the rich symbolism of Anglo-Saxon paganism. His work continues to resonate, offering accessible yet profound insights into witchcraft and occult philosophy, guiding modern practitioners with wisdom and clarity.
