Above the Zodiac: Astrology in Jewish Thought

Arrived faster than expected and well packaged. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. You can tell why this work has endured. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted. Solid, if not essential.

As someone who reads a lot in this field, I can be picky. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. One of my better finds this year.

Bought this as a gift for my sister and ended up ordering a second copy for myself. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. It's become a regular reference in my practice.

My third book from this store and this one might be the best. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. Definitely recommend.

My third book from this store and this one might be the best. You can tell why this work has endured. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. Five stars from me.

Occupying a distinct place on our astrology shelf, Glazerson's study offers an intriguing synthesis of cosmic symbolism and Jewish tradition. However, because the edition's provided description remains relatively sparse regarding its precise analytical methods, prospective readers should note that the volume is tailored closely to its specific niche. It will not suit casual readers seeking basic star-sign predictions, popular horoscope guides, or general Western horary astrology. Instead, it is aimed directly at those invested in the mystical dimensions of religious esoterica. For the right reader—one searching for serious comparative esoteric thought—this work serves as a fascinating bridge between traditional spirituality and celestial wisdom.
