⭐ Reader reviews
Reader rating
While highly effective for novices craving structure, this book may frustrate advanced practitioners seeking deep theoretical rigor or historical accuracy. It prioritizes personal discovery over scholarly depth, which might feel superficial to those already well-versed in complex ceremonial systems. The 'diary' format, while engaging, is essentially a curriculum disguised as personal lore; readers expecting raw, unedited confessions may feel misled by the pedagogical intent. It is best suited for those ready to commit to a five-month practice rather than casual browsers looking for quick spell lists. However, its strength lies in making magic accessible and personally relevant, provided one accepts its eclectic, modern interpretation of tradition without demanding historical fidelity.
