⭐ Reader reviews
Reader rating
While 'Web of Lies' succeeds in establishing a menacing atmosphere within its arcane university, it may disappoint readers seeking lighthearted magical adventures. The tone is decidedly serious, focusing on perilous secrets and cataclysmic consequences rather than whimsy or charm. Those expecting a traditional coming-of-age story with clear moral binaries might find the 'tapestry of hidden agendas' too convoluted or morally gray. Additionally, readers who dislike protagonists making catastrophic errors that drive the plot may find Aurelia’s accidental awakening frustrating rather than engaging. It is best suited for fans of darker, more psychologically complex magical narratives who can tolerate ambiguity and high stakes over simple heroics.
