📝 Description: Universal Waite(r) Tarot Deck/Book Set [With Book]

Artist Mary Hanson-Roberts re-colors the iconic drawings of Pamela Colman Smith in this deck and book set, bringing fresh details and softer tones to the original Rider-Waite artwork. Hanson-Roberts, who also illustrated the Hanson-Roberts Tarot and the Whimsical Tarot, provides serene imagery that clarifies Waite's symbolism, making the cards accessible for meditation alongside divination practice. Published by U. S. Games Systems, Inc., this package brings together a complete 78-card deck, a spread sheet, and Arthur Edward Waite's companion volume, The Pictorial Key to the Tarot. The accompanying text lays out Waite's framework across five distinct sections. It covers the symbolism behind the veil, the underlying doctrine, oracle methods, the Major Arcana meanings, and practical divination techniques. Through these chapters, the text explores the symbolic systems, underlying doctrines, and practical divination methods that form the foundation of Waite's system. This collection suits tarot newcomers seeking clear imagery, as well as seasoned tarot readers who want an alternative color palette for study or meditation. It is not designed for readers looking for a standalone text without cards, nor is it suited for those who prefer the stark, original historical coloring of Smith's early line work over a re-colored edition.
