Ordered this after seeing it referenced in another book I was studying. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. It connects ideas I'd only seen treated separately elsewhere. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
Long-time student of the esoteric here. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. If you're drawn to this subject, don't hesitate.
Not my usual area but wanted to branch out. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. My only quibble is the cover feels thinner than expected. Good, with the caveats above.
My third book from this store and this one might be the best. The material is presented clearly and the structure makes it easy to revisit key passages. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted. Recommended with reservations.
A friend in my study group recommended this one. It's become a regular reference in my practice. Already eyeing my next order.
Added this to my reference shelf. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. The print is clean and easy on the eyes for long sessions. Well worth it.
Grabbed this during a weekend order. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. Great value for what you get.
