Long-time student of the esoteric here. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. Happy enough with the purchase.
Been hunting for a decent copy of this text for ages. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Still worth having on the shelf.
First purchase from this shop. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. A text you study rather than simply read.
Fortune provides a dense, structural analysis of initiation that demands focus and dedication. While it clarifies the mechanics of spiritual advancement for the devoted, it does not suit casual readers or those seeking light entertainment. The text is rigorous and technical, requiring patience to navigate its detailed mapping of esoteric lineages. It is best suited for individuals already familiar with basic occult concepts who wish to deepen their understanding of the Kabbalistic tree of life and ancient mystery systems without ambiguity.
