I keep coming back to this one. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way. Solid binding, decent paper — holds up to heavy use. Will be gifting a copy to a friend.
Finally got around to ordering this. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. My only quibble is the cover feels thinner than expected. Solid, if not essential.

Was skeptical at first. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. Every rereading turns up something I missed. Some archaic spellings slow things down. Good, with the caveats above.
