Occult literature desk
Demartini delivers a potent deconstruction of romantic ideals, challenging the conventional 'soul mate' narrative with rigorous psychological insight. While the framework for viewing partners as spiritual mirrors is compelling, it demands a willingness to abandon comfort in favor of harsh self-honesty. This text does not suit those seeking gentle affirmation or quick fixes for relationship woes; it requires active engagement with difficult truths about attraction and conflict. Readers who prefer traditional romance or external solutions may find the demand for internal alignment too demanding, though those ready for deep spiritual work will find its logic irrefutable.

Solid edition

I collect works on this subject and this is a worthy addition. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. Every rereading turns up something I missed. It assumes more background than a beginner might have. Happy enough with the purchase.

Solid edition

This edition finally does the material justice. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. Some archaic spellings slow things down. Good, with the caveats above.

Deep and rewarding

Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. Already eyeing my next order.
