The Complete Book of Spells, Ceremonies and Magic

Exactly what I was looking for. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. Deserves a place on any esoteric bookshelf.

I keep coming back to this one. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. A text you study rather than simply read. Definitely recommend.

First purchase from this shop. The print is clean and easy on the eyes for long sessions. The material is presented clearly and the structure makes it easy to revisit key passages. Some archaic spellings slow things down. Happy enough with the purchase.

Was skeptical at first. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way. It's become a regular reference in my practice. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious. Recommended with reservations.

Needed this for my research. You can tell why this work has endured. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition.

Perfect companion for my morning study sessions. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm.

I've read excerpts online before, but having the full text is different. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. Every rereading turns up something I missed. Shipping was quick too.

González-Wippler’s compilation is a valuable reference for those seeking breadth over depth in various magical disciplines. It successfully bridges the gap between academic interest and practical application, offering clear instructions for talismans and divination. However, advanced practitioners or purists of specific traditions may find the eclectic approach lacking in nuance or doctrinal purity. The book does not suit readers looking for deep, lineage-specific teachings or rigorous academic criticism. Instead, it functions best as a broad toolkit for generalists who want to experiment with multiple systems without committing to one exclusive path immediately.
