⭐ Reader reviews
Reader rating
This updated edition succeeds in compiling previously unavailable volumes into a cohesive, accessible entry point for English speakers interested in Orisha herbalism. Its strength lies in its practicality, offering concrete remedies like potions and aromatherapy alongside over 300 plant profiles. However, it does not suit those seeking deep theological treatises or strict adherence to traditional Candomblé hierarchies without further study. Readers looking for purely academic anthropological analysis may find the focus on practical spellcraft too esoteric. It is best suited for magical practitioners wanting immediate, usable botanical knowledge rather than historians or rigid traditionalists.
