Bought this as a gift for my sister and ended up ordering a second copy for myself. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. Well worth it.
Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious. Happy enough with the purchase.
Been hunting for a decent copy of this text for ages. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. If you're drawn to this subject, don't hesitate.
Not my usual area but wanted to branch out. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. Definitely recommend.
My third book from this store and this one might be the best. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. Shipping was quick too.
Arrived faster than expected and well packaged. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. If you're drawn to this subject, don't hesitate.
Arrived faster than expected and well packaged. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. Deserves a place on any esoteric bookshelf.
