Partner Earth: A Spiritual Ecology (Original)
Montgomery argues that modern disconnection from nature manifests as physical and emotional fragmentation. By recognizing the devas—the energetic spirits of plants, animals, and elements—we can heal this rift. This guide offers practical rituals, visualizations, and herbal wisdom to bridge the gap between body and spirit. You will learn to create sacred spaces, cultivate plant allies, and prepare flower essences. These tools restore the sacred partnership between humanity and the Earth, transforming personal well-being through a conscious, reciprocal relationship with the natural world.

This edition finally does the material justice. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
A friend in my study group recommended this one. The material is presented clearly and the structure makes it easy to revisit key passages. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Happy enough with the purchase.
As someone who reads a lot in this field, I can be picky. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. It's become a regular reference in my practice. Five stars from me.
Been hunting for a decent copy of this text for ages. You can tell why this work has endured. Would buy from this store again.
Montgomery provides a compelling framework for spiritual ecology, emphasizing the tangible benefits of engaging with devas and plant allies. The practical advice on flower essences and sacred space creation is particularly valuable for practitioners seeking to ground their metaphysical interests in daily life. However, readers who prefer rigorous academic anthropology or strictly scientific environmental studies may find the reliance on energetic spirits and esoteric concepts lacking in empirical support. This text is best suited for those already open to anthroposophical ideas rather than skeptics seeking objective data. It succeeds as a spiritual manual but does not attempt to convince through logical argumentation alone.
