I collect works on this subject and this is a worthy addition. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared.
Exactly what I was looking for. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. Definitely recommend.
Was skeptical at first. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. Some archaic spellings slow things down.
Bought this as a gift for my sister and ended up ordering a second copy for myself. Every rereading turns up something I missed. Glad I finally picked this up.
