Pagan Astrology: Spell-Casting, Love Magic, and Shamanic Stargazing

Finally got around to ordering this. It's become a regular reference in my practice. If you're drawn to this subject, don't hesitate.

Was skeptical at first. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. Glad I finally picked this up.

Perfect companion for my morning study sessions. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. The font runs small in the appendices. Recommended with reservations.

Honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm impressed. Every rereading turns up something I missed. A text you study rather than simply read. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious. Happy enough with the purchase.

Bought this as a gift for my sister and ended up ordering a second copy for myself. The material is presented clearly and the structure makes it easy to revisit key passages. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. Great value for what you get.

I've read excerpts online before, but having the full text is different. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. Will be gifting a copy to a friend.

Exactly what I was looking for. A text you study rather than simply read. Deserves a place on any esoteric bookshelf.

Kaldera delivers a robust bridge between esoteric astrology and living pagan traditions, emphasizing intuition and folk wisdom. The text excels in providing a practical framework for spell-casting and planetary magic, offering clear methods for using specific remedies and altars. However, it does not suit those seeking rigorous academic astrology or detached theoretical analysis. Readers expecting complex mathematical chart interpretations will likely find the focus on tangible tools and green magic too simplistic. It is best appreciated by practitioners willing to embrace a hands-on, intuitive approach to celestial influence rather than one bound by strict astrological rules.
