⭐ Reader reviews
Reader rating
Joiner and White deliver a compelling narrative that masterfully blends local history with paranormal tales. The book shines in its detailed exploration of Shreveport’s most famously haunted locations, such as the historic Oakland Cemetery. However, readers seeking rigorous academic analysis or scientific debunking of hauntings may find the tone too anecdotal. It is not suitable for those who prefer strictly factual histories without supernatural speculation. The writing is accessible and engaging for casual readers interested in local lore, but it lacks the depth required for serious paranormal researchers. Overall, it is a solid entry for fans of regional ghost stories.
