Arrived faster than expected and well packaged. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. Some archaic spellings slow things down. Still worth having on the shelf.
First purchase from this shop. A text you study rather than simply read. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. Solid, if not essential.
This edition finally does the material justice. The material is presented clearly and the structure makes it easy to revisit key passages. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious. Recommended with reservations.
Was skeptical at first. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. Recommended if you're ready to do the work.
As someone who reads a lot in this field, I can be picky. You can tell why this work has endured. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. Already eyeing my next order.
