Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. The font runs small in the appendices. Still worth having on the shelf.
Ordered this after seeing it referenced in another book I was studying. It connects ideas I'd only seen treated separately elsewhere. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
Bought this as a gift for my sister and ended up ordering a second copy for myself. You can tell why this work has endured. The print is clean and easy on the eyes for long sessions. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious. Good, with the caveats above.
A friend in my study group recommended this one. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year.
Long-time student of the esoteric here. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. If you're drawn to this subject, don't hesitate.
First purchase from this shop. It connects ideas I'd only seen treated separately elsewhere. Recommended if you're ready to do the work.
