Took a chance on this and glad I did. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm.
This edition finally does the material justice. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure.
Been hunting for a decent copy of this text for ages. It connects ideas I'd only seen treated separately elsewhere. Would buy from this store again.
Needed this for my research. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. The historical context alone makes it worth the price.
My third book from this store and this one might be the best. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. Happy enough with the purchase.
This edition finally does the material justice. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. Shipping was quick too.
I collect works on this subject and this is a worthy addition. The historical context alone makes it worth the price.
This interactive grimoire is a charming tribute to Disney’s Hocus Pocus, offering entertaining spells and lore tailored for young readers and casual fans. However, it does not suit serious students of esoteric philosophy, historical witchcraft practitioners, or those seeking authentic occult knowledge. The content is strictly pop-culture fiction disguised as magical instruction, prioritizing whimsy over substance. Readers looking for genuine ritualistic depth or scholarly analysis will find this volume lacking in intellectual rigor. It is best appreciated as a fun, visual companion to the film rather than a standalone guide to magical practice.
