I keep coming back to this one. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. Will be gifting a copy to a friend.
This has been on my wishlist for months. The print is clean and easy on the eyes for long sessions. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. Well worth it.
McBeth succeeds in making Druidry feel accessible rather than intimidating, offering a solid foundation for beginners eager to engage with Celtic wisdom. The blend of ancient tradition with contemporary practice is handled with care, ensuring the material remains relevant and applicable to modern life. However, those seeking rigorous historical documentation or highly complex theological debates will find this text lacking in depth. It is not suited for advanced practitioners already well-versed in esoteric jargon who desire scholarly critique over practical instruction. This book is a gentle introduction, ideal for novices but potentially too simplistic for experts.
