Finally got around to ordering this. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted. Solid, if not essential.
Ordered this after seeing it referenced in another book I was studying. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. Happy enough with the purchase.
Exactly what I was looking for. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious. Good, with the caveats above.
Finally got around to ordering this. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. It connects ideas I'd only seen treated separately elsewhere. Deserves a place on any esoteric bookshelf.
Long-time student of the esoteric here. It's become a regular reference in my practice. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year.
Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. The font runs small in the appendices. Still worth having on the shelf.
